Lemon Tree Hotels Shares Rise Over 1.6% as Company Signs New Hotel Operation Agreement in Tirupati

Lemon Tree Hotels was trading at RS 162.80, gaining RS 2.60 or 1.62%, compared to its previous close of RS 160.20 on the BSE.

The stock opened at RS 159.25 and moved between an intraday high of RS 163.60 and a low of RS 159.25. A total of 6,531 shares were traded during the session.

The BSE Group ‘A’ stock, with a face value of RS 10, has recorded a 52-week high of RS 180.60 on 08 September 2025 and a 52-week low of RS 110.55 on 07 April 2025. Over the past week, the scrip’s high and low stood at RS 164.25 and RS 159.00, respectively. The company’s current market capitalisation is RS 12,727.44 crore.

Promoters hold 22.28% stake in the company, while institutional investors own 41.16% and non-institutional investors hold 36.56%.

Meanwhile, Lemon Tree Hotels has executed a Hotel Operation Agreement (HOA) for an upcoming hotel in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, through Carnation Hotels, a wholly owned subsidiary of the company. The property will be operated under the brand ‘Lemon Tree Suites’, subject to the execution of a licence agreement by Lemon Tree Hotels.

Lemon Tree Suites, Tirupati, is located in one of India’s most prominent spiritual destinations, renowned for the Sri Venkateswara Temple, which attracts millions of devotees annually. Set in the Eastern Ghats of Andhra Pradesh, Tirupati is known for its rich cultural heritage, serene surroundings, and well-developed pilgrim infrastructure.

The upcoming hotel will feature 228 well-appointed rooms and suites, along with a restaurant, banquet hall, and meeting room. Recreational amenities will include a swimming pool and spa. The property is approximately 10 km from Tirupati International Airport and about 6.3 km from Tirupati Railway Station, with convenient access via public and private transport.

Lemon Tree Hotels is India’s largest mid-priced hotel chain and the third-largest overall, based on controlling interest in owned and leased rooms.
