Premier Energies Shares Gain 0.90% Amid Strong Q2FY26 Earnings Growth

Premier Energies is currently trading at Rs 1111.35, up by Rs 9.95 or 0.90% from its previous close of Rs 1101.40 on the BSE.

The stock opened at Rs 1097.75 and recorded a high of Rs 1114.80 and a low of Rs 1087.55 during the session. A total of 44,319 shares have been traded so far on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock, with a face value of Rs 1, touched a 52-week high of Rs 1387.10 on December 17, 2024, and a 52-week low of Rs 755.55 on April 7, 2025. Over the past week, the scrip traded between Rs 1119.70 and Rs 1058.90. The company’s current market capitalization stands at Rs 50,327.67 crore.

In terms of shareholding, promoters hold 63.94%, while institutions and non-institutions hold 17.49% and 18.57%, respectively.

Premier Energies reported a threefold jump in standalone net profit to Rs 55.11 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2025 (Q2FY26), compared to Rs 15.98 crore in the same quarter last year. The company’s total income rose marginally by 1.27% to Rs 232.05 crore from Rs 229.14 crore in the previous year’s corresponding quarter.

On a consolidated basis, net profit surged 71.61% to Rs 353.44 crore for Q2FY26, compared to Rs 205.95 crore in the same period last year. The total consolidated income rose by 23.67% to Rs 1,921.37 crore, against Rs 1,553.59 crore in the previous year.
