HUDCO Shares Edge Higher; Signs MoU with IIM Calcutta for Research and Training Collaboration

Housing & Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) is currently trading at RS. 227.70, up by 1.65 points or 0.73% from its previous close of RS. 226.05 on the BSE.

The stock opened at RS. 227.60 and touched an intraday high of RS. 228.35 and a low of RS. 224.95. A total of 52,820 shares have been traded so far on the counter.

The BSE Group ‘A’ stock, with a face value of RS. 10, recorded a 52-week high of RS. 263.95 on December 17, 2024, and a 52-week low of RS. 158.90 on March 3, 2025. During the past week, the stock traded between a high of RS. 230.80 and a low of RS. 224.75. The company’s current market capitalization stands at RS. 45,292.99 crore.

Promoters hold 75.00% stake in the company, while institutional investors and non-institutional investors hold 12.86% and 12.14% respectively.

In a recent development, HUDCO has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (IIMC) on October 28, 2025. This non-binding MoU aims to foster technical collaboration in training, education, research, and capacity building. It also includes plans for certificate courses, consultancy, fee-based projects, and services.

The agreement will remain valid for three years from the date of signing and will be reviewed annually for any modifications or amendments based on mutual consent.

HUDCO primarily finances social housing and residential real estate projects by lending to State Governments and their agencies, which further extend financial assistance to individual beneficiaries.
