Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Gains on Rs 415 Crore Solar Project LOI

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy is trading at RS. 275.70, up by 9.25 points or 3.47% from its previous close of RS. 266.45 on the BSE.

The stock opened at RS. 275.00 and recorded a high of RS. 281.90 and a low of RS. 270.75. So far, 4,76,326 shares have been exchanged on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock with a face value of RS. 1 touched a 52-week high of RS. 758.35 on September 13, 2024, and a 52-week low of RS. 216.05 on April 7, 2025. Over the past week, the stock’s high and low stood at RS. 281.90 and RS. 259.75 respectively. The company’s market capitalization currently stands at RS. 6480.51 crore.

In terms of shareholding, promoters hold 45.73%, institutions own 13.44%, while non-institutions account for 40.83%.

The company has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from a leading Private Independent Power Producer (IPP) for a BOS EPC package to develop a 300 MW AC / 420 MWp DC Solar PV Project, along with a 220/33 kV Pooling Substation in Rajasthan. The total contract value is approximately RS. 415 crore, inclusive of O&M and taxes.
