Astral is currently trading at RS. 1433.90, up by 10.60 points or 0.74% from its previous closing of RS. 1423.30 on the BSE.

The stock opened at RS. 1432.00 and touched a high of RS. 1445.00 and a low of RS. 1418.95. So far, 14,667 shares have been traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock with a face value of RS. 1 recorded a 52-week high of RS. 2039.95 on September 25, 2024, and a 52-week low of RS. 1232.00 on March 13, 2025. During the past week, the stock’s high and low stood at RS. 1445.00 and RS. 1365.40, respectively. The current market capitalization of the company is RS. 38,519.53 crore.

The shareholding pattern shows promoters holding 54.10%, institutions 35.04%, and non-institutions 10.85%.

In a key development, Astral has received approval to acquire the remaining 5% equity shares of Seal IT Services, UK (a subsidiary of the company), from an existing shareholder for GBP 4,00,000 (around RS. 4.75 crore). Post-acquisition, Astral’s stake in Seal IT will rise from 95% to 100%, making it a wholly-owned subsidiary.

The transaction is scheduled for completion on or before September 30, 2025. The company’s Board of Directors approved the acquisition in its meeting held on September 4, 2025.
