NTPC Green Energy Shares Gain; Commissions 49 MW Capacity at Khavda Solar Project

NTPC Green Energy is trading at RS. 104.45, up by 0.95 points or 0.92% from its previous closing of RS. 103.50 on the BSE.

The stock opened at RS. 103.25 and has recorded a high of RS. 105.05 and a low of RS. 103.25 so far, with 1,24,183 shares traded on the counter.

A BSE group 'B' stock with a face value of RS. 10, NTPC Green Energy touched a 52-week high of RS. 155.30 on December 4, 2024, and a 52-week low of RS. 84.60 on March 3, 2025. Over the past week, the scrip’s high and low stood at RS. 105.60 and RS. 100.45 respectively. The company’s current market capitalization is RS. 88139.41 crore.

The shareholding pattern shows promoters holding 89.01%, institutions holding 6.49%, and non-institutions holding 4.49%.

On the operational front, NTPC Green Energy has commenced the commercial supply of 49 MW capacity at its Khavda Solar Energy Project in Bhuj, Gujarat. This marks the third phase of commissioning under the 300 MW project.

Earlier, the company had made commercially operational the first phase of 142.2 MW on June 28, 2025, and the second phase of 32.8 MW on June 30, 2025.
