The Great Eastern Shipping Shares Dip as Q1FY26 Profit Falls Over 40%

The Great Eastern Shipping Company is currently trading at RS. 919.00, down by 17.55 points or 1.87% from its previous close of RS. 936.55 on the BSE.

Total income for the quarter also fell by 30.07%, coming in at RS. 916.41 crore compared to RS. 1,310.45 crore year-on-year.

On a consolidated basis, net profit for Q1FY26 dropped 37.86% to RS. 504.50 crore from RS. 811.94 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year. Consolidated income also declined by 21.50% to RS. 1,336.88 crore, down from RS. 1,703.11 crore in Q1FY25.
