Hindustan Unilever Shares Surge Over 3% After Q1 Profit Rises 7.64%

Hindustan Unilever is trading at RS. 2524.20, up by 87.20 points or 3.58% from its previous close of RS. 2437.00 on the BSE.

The stock opened at RS. 2418.00 and recorded a high of RS. 2538.40 and a low of RS. 2418.00. So far, 1,16,685 shares have been traded on the counter.

A BSE group 'A' stock with a face value of RS. 1, Hindustan Unilever has touched a 52-week high of RS. 3034.50 on September 23, 2024, and a 52-week low of RS. 2136.00 on March 4, 2025. Over the past week, the scrip moved between a high of RS. 2538.40 and a low of RS. 2399.45. The company's current market capitalization stands at RS. 593083.83 crore.

The company’s shareholding pattern includes 61.90% held by promoters, 26.24% by institutions, and 11.85% by non-institutions.

In its financial results for Q1FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025), Hindustan Unilever reported a 7.64% increase in standalone net profit at RS. 2732 crore, compared to RS. 2538 crore in the same quarter last year. The total income rose by 3.73% to RS. 16178 crore from RS. 15596 crore in Q1FY25.

On a consolidated basis, net profit rose by 5.59% to RS. 2756 crore in Q1FY26, compared to RS. 2610 crore in the corresponding period last year. Consolidated total income increased by 4.70% to RS. 16715 crore from RS. 15964 crore.
