GMR Airports Rises Over 1% as Duty-Free Operations Begin at Delhi Airport

GMR Airports is currently trading at RS. 90.96, marking an increase of 1.06 points or 1.18% from its previous close of RS. 89.90 on the BSE.

The stock opened at RS. 89.33 and recorded an intraday high of RS. 91.59 and a low of RS. 89.13. A total of 2,41,719 shares have been traded so far.

Classified under BSE group 'A' with a face value of RS. 1, the stock has touched a 52-week high of RS. 103.70 on July 31, 2024, and a 52-week low of RS. 67.75 on February 28, 2025. Over the past week, it has traded between RS. 94.64 and RS. 89.13. The company’s current market capitalization stands at RS. 95,685.44 crore.

The promoter holding in the company is at 66.24%, while institutions and non-institutional investors hold 20.19% and 13.57%, respectively.

In a recent development, GMR Airports has commenced commercial operations of its duty-free business at Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi, from July 28, 2025. This follows the company’s selection as the preferred bidder on August 21, 2024, to develop, operate, manage, and maintain duty-free operations at the airport. A License Agreement was signed on the same day.
