HUDCO Shares Edge Higher; Signs RS 1 Lakh Crore MoU for Madhya Pradesh Projects

Housing & Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) is currently trading at RS. 232.25, up by 1.60 points or 0.69% from its previous close of RS. 230.65 on the BSE.

The stock opened at RS. 232.25 and has so far touched a high of RS. 234.10 and a low of RS. 231.55. Around 42,153 shares have been traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock, with a face value of RS. 10, recorded a 52-week high of RS. 353.95 on July 12, 2024, and a 52-week low of RS. 158.90 on March 3, 2025. Over the past week, the stock’s high and low stood at RS. 234.10 and RS. 224.10 respectively. HUDCO’s current market capitalization is RS. 46,794.41 crore.

The company’s shareholding pattern shows promoters holding 75.00%, institutions holding 12.15%, and non-institutions holding 12.85%.

In a significant development, HUDCO has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Madhya Pradesh Urban Development Company Limited (MPUDCL) on July 11, 2025, in Indore.

This non-binding MoU aims to provide financial assistance of RS. 1,00,000 crore over five years for various housing and infrastructure projects in Madhya Pradesh. HUDCO will also offer consultancy services and capacity-building support to ensure successful implementation of these projects.

HUDCO primarily finances social housing and residential real estate by lending to State Governments and their agencies, which then channel funds to individual beneficiaries.
