In a significant development, ACME Solar Holdings has fully commissioned its 300 MW renewable energy capacity at the ACME Sikar Solar project in Rajasthan, after adding the final 60 MW during the current quarter. Earlier, the company had commissioned 240 MW of the same project. With this, ACME Solar’s total operational capacity has reached 2,890 MW.

Spread across 1,300 acres in Bikaner, Rajasthan — a high solar irradiation zone — the Sikar Solar project is connected to the Bikaner II substation at 220 kV. It is expected to generate around 780 million units of renewable energy annually. The project was allocated under the SECI-ISTS XVIII scheme at a tariff of RS. 3.05 per unit, approved by CERC, with a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) to be signed soon.

Additionally, ACME Solar has commissioned its first wind project of 50 MW at Shapar, Gujarat, with the final 3.3 MW turbine installed this quarter. Located in one of India’s top wind zones, this project operates under a 25-year PPA with GUVNL. Developed through in-house EPC, this marks ACME Solar’s strategic diversification into wind energy and enhancement of its EPC capabilities.

ACME Solar Holdings is a leading renewable energy company in India, with a growing portfolio in solar, wind, hybrid, and firm and dispatchable renewable energy projects.
