Bajel Projects Hits Upper Circuit on BSE After Securing Mega PowerGrid Order

Bajel Projects has hit its upper circuit limit at RS. 209.80, rising by 9.95 points or 4.98% from its previous close of RS. 199.85 on the BSE.

The stock opened and remained at RS. 209.80 throughout the session, marking both its high and low for the day. A total of 376 shares have been traded so far.

This BSE group 'T' stock, with a face value of RS. 2, has touched a 52-week high of RS. 330.00 on July 5, 2024, and a 52-week low of RS. 145.20 on April 7, 2025. Over the past week, the scrip’s high and low stood at RS. 221.35 and RS. 198.00 respectively. The current market capitalization of the company is RS. 2425.34 crore.

Promoters hold a 62.58% stake in the company, while institutional investors and non-institutions hold 9.90% and 27.53%, respectively.

In a significant development, Bajel Projects has secured a major order from PowerGrid Corporation of India (PGCIL) through their Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), M/s ‘MEL Power Transmission’. This project falls under the ultra-mega band (RS. 400 crore and above), highlighting Bajel Projects' increasing influence in the power infrastructure sector.

The order includes the construction of a 400kV double circuit transmission line of approximately 138 kilometers, connecting Mahan (Existing Bus) to Rewa PS (PG), using Quad ACSR/AAAC/AL59 moose equivalent conductors. It also involves the extension of the 400kV Substation Bay at Rewa (PG), part of the Transmission System for power evacuation from Mahan Energen Generating Station in Madhya Pradesh.

The project is scheduled for completion within 29 months, reaffirming Bajel Projects’ track record of timely delivery in large-scale infrastructure development.
