Berger Paints Shares Climb Nearly 2% After Strong Q4 and FY25 Financial Performance

Berger Paints India is currently trading at RS. 564.75, up by 10.95 points or 1.98% from its previous closing of RS. 553.80 on the BSE.

The stock opened at RS. 560.00 and has touched an intraday high of RS. 580.00 and a low of RS. 560.00. So far, 46,078 shares have been traded on the exchange.

This BSE group 'A' stock, with a face value of RS. 1, recorded a 52-week high of RS. 629.60 on September 17, 2024, and a 52-week low of RS. 437.80 on December 30, 2024. In the past week, the scrip has moved between RS. 580.00 and RS. 520.00. The current market capitalization stands at RS. 67,126.39 crore.

Promoters hold 74.98% of the company’s shares, while institutional investors and non-institutions hold 15.84% and 9.17% respectively.

On the financial front, Berger Paints India reported a 30.47% year-on-year jump in net profit to RS. 236.92 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2025, compared to RS. 181.59 crore in the same quarter last year. The company’s total income rose 4.61% to RS. 2,366.90 crore in Q4FY25, up from RS. 2,262.58 crore in Q4FY24.

On a consolidated basis, Q4 net profit rose 18.10% to RS. 262.91 crore, compared to RS. 222.62 crore in the year-ago quarter. Consolidated income increased 7.29% to RS. 2,721.14 crore from RS. 2,536.16 crore.

For the full year ended March 31, 2025, standalone net profit grew 6.15% to RS. 1,077.50 crore from RS. 1,015.05 crore in FY24, while total income increased by 2.30% to RS. 10,291.43 crore from RS. 10,060.37 crore.

On a consolidated basis, full-year net profit rose slightly by 1.11% to RS. 1,182.81 crore from RS. 1,169.82 crore, and total income rose 3.35% to RS. 11,639.49 crore from RS. 11,262.60 crore.
