Jindal Poly Films’ subsidiary, JPFL Films, has announced plans to invest RS. 700 crore for setting up new BOPP, PET, and CPP lines in Nashik, Maharashtra. The new lines are expected to be commissioned within the next 2–3 years.

This initiative is in addition to the ongoing development of BOPP Line 9, announced in August 2024. The expansion is aligned with the company’s strategy to strengthen its presence in the flexible packaging segment and counter current pricing pressures due to supply-demand imbalances. This move follows a 43% YoY increase in net revenue from operations over the first nine months of FY 2024–25.

The new production lines will be among the most advanced in the market, offering superior width, output, reliability, and process efficiency. This expansion reinforces JPFL Films’ focus on technological innovation, quality improvement, and customer satisfaction.

As the flexible packaging market evolves—driven by growing demand in food, beverage, personal care, and pharmaceutical sectors—JPFL Films is positioning itself to maintain market leadership and strengthen its global footprint.

Jindal Poly Films (JPFL) remains India’s largest manufacturer of BOPET and BOPP films, including metalized and coated variants, along with polyester chips for in-house consumption.
