Reliance Industries Gains as Jio Adds 21.74 Lakh Subscribers in March 2025

Reliance Industries is trading at RS. 1415.20, up by 9.20 points or 0.65% from its previous close of RS. 1406.00 on the BSE.

The stock opened at RS. 1404.95 and moved between a high of RS. 1415.70 and a low of RS. 1397.75 during the session. A total of 1,94,917 shares were traded on the counter.

This BSE group 'A' stock, with a face value of RS. 10, touched a 52-week high of RS. 1608.95 on July 8, 2024, and a 52-week low of RS. 1115.55 on April 7, 2025. Over the past week, the stock has fluctuated between RS. 1439.75 and RS. 1397.75. The current market capitalization stands at RS. 1908552.28 crore.

The company’s shareholding pattern shows 50.11% held by promoters, 38.58% by institutional investors, and 11.31% by non-institutional investors.

In a positive development, Reliance Jio Infocomm, the telecom arm of Reliance Industries, added 21.74 lakh new customers in March 2025. This brings Jio’s total subscriber base to 46.97 crore, capturing a 40.60% market share in the wireless segment as of March 31, 2025.

Reliance Industries remains India’s largest private sector enterprise, with operations spanning hydrocarbon exploration and production, petroleum refining, petrochemicals, retail, and digital services through its 4G network.
