Poonawalla Fincorp Gains Slightly; Gets Board Nod to Raise RS. 1,875 Crore via NCDs

Poonawalla Fincorp is currently trading at RS. 383.40, up by 1.00 point or 0.26% from its previous closing of RS. 382.40 on the BSE.

The stock opened at RS. 387.60 and has recorded a high and low of RS. 387.60 and RS. 380.70 respectively. So far, 1,37,339 shares have been traded on the counter.

This BSE group 'A' stock with a face value of RS. 2 had touched a 52-week high of RS. 513.95 on April 22, 2024, and a 52-week low of RS. 267.25 on March 4, 2025. Over the past week, the scrip's high and low stood at RS. 387.60 and RS. 356.20 respectively. The current market capitalization of the company is RS. 29,774.61 crore.

In terms of shareholding, promoters hold 62.53%, while institutions and non-institutions own 20.13% and 17.33% respectively.

The company has received approval for the issuance of secured, redeemable, rated, listed non-convertible debentures (NCDs) of face value RS. 1,00,000 each, aggregating up to RS. 1,875 crore in dematerialized form via private placement. The approval was granted by the Finance Committee, as authorized by the Board of Directors, on April 15, 2025.
