​​​​​​​NBCC (India) Shares Gain Over 2%; Signs MoU with MAHAPREIT for RS 25,000 Crore Projects in Maharashtra

NBCC (India) Limited is currently trading at RS 83.08, showing a rise of 2.02 points or 2.49% from its previous closing price of RS 81.06 on the BSE.

The stock opened at RS 82.61 and touched an intraday high of RS 83.80 and a low of RS 82.24. A total of 3,28,986 shares have been traded so far on the counter.

NBCC is listed under the BSE 'A' group with a face value of RS 1. The stock has touched a 52-week high of RS 139.83 on August 28, 2024, and a 52-week low of RS 70.82 on March 3, 2025. Over the past week, the stock recorded a high of RS 86.25 and a low of RS 80.90. The company's current market capitalization stands at RS 22,512.60 crore.

Promoters hold 61.75% stake in the company, while Institutional investors and Non-Institutional investors hold 13.09% and 25.16% respectively.

In a significant development, NBCC (India) has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology Limited (MAHAPREIT) on March 26, 2025. This collaboration is aimed at jointly executing a variety of consultancy, fee-based, EPC, and redevelopment projects from concept to commissioning.

With this partnership, NBCC will enter Maharashtra’s redevelopment sector for the first time, after successfully implementing similar projects in Delhi. The partnership will focus on key infrastructure projects such as cluster development in Thane Municipal Corporation, construction of data centres, renewable energy projects, slum rehabilitation in Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), and residential projects under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY).

The total estimated project value under this MoU is RS 25,000 crore, to be implemented over the next three to five years. This initiative aims to contribute towards sustainable urban development and affordable housing in alignment with the Government of India’s vision. The agreement will also help both organizations leverage their respective strengths to improve client acquisition and service delivery.
