GRP Stock Rises; Begins Production of Crumb Rubber at New Unit

GRP is currently trading at RS 2683.35, up by 8.35 points or 0.31% from its previous closing of RS 2675.00 on the BSE.

The stock opened at RS 2671.45 and has recorded a high of RS 2724.90 and a low of RS 2671.45 so far. A total of 61 shares have been traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock, with a face value of RS 10, hit a 52-week high of RS 4840.00 on August 21, 2024, and a 52-week low of RS 1578.86 on March 26, 2024. Over the last week, the stock’s high and low stood at RS 2843.40 and RS 2649.00, respectively. The company’s current market capitalization is RS 1431.12 crore.

In terms of shareholding, promoters hold 40.19%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions hold 0.39% and 59.43%, respectively.

In a significant development, GRP has commenced commercial production of ‘Crumb Rubber’ at its newly established manufacturing facility in MIDC Industrial Area, Chincholi, Solapur, on March 24, 2025. This unit has a production capacity of 31,875 MT per annum.

The newly created capacity aims to meet the increasing demand for Crumb Rubber in multiple applications, including reclaim rubber, tyre pyrolysis, tyres, road surfacing, and rubber goods.
