Larsen & Toubro Surges 2.56%, Secures Major Residential and Commercial Projects

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) is currently trading at RS. 3435.00, up by 85.80 points or 2.56% from its previous closing of RS. 3349.20 on the BSE.

The stock opened at RS. 3350.30 and recorded a high of RS. 3454.40 and a low of RS. 3333.10. A total of 132142 shares have been traded so far.

L&T, a BSE group 'A' stock with a face value of RS. 2, reached a 52-week high of RS. 3963.00 on December 10, 2024, and a 52-week low of RS. 3141.30 on February 28, 2025. L&T’s Buildings & Factories (B&F) vertical has secured a large order from Brigade Group for the construction of residential and commercial towers in Hyderabad and Chennai. This marks the largest residential project the company has received from a private client.

The first order is from Brigade Gateway Residences at Neopolis, Kokapet, Hyderabad, featuring two luxury towers, including one of Hyderabad’s tallest buildings, with a configuration of 5B+G+57 floors. The second order, from Brigade World Trade Centre at Neopolis, Kokapet, Hyderabad, includes a commercial tower standing over 200 meters tall (5B+G+50 floors) with retail space and a five-star hotel, making it the tallest mixed-use development in Hyderabad.

In Chennai, L&T has received an order for Brigade Altius, a prestigious development featuring three signature towers with 6 parking levels and 39 apartment floors. Additionally, Brigade Morgan Heights in Chennai will comprise 10 luxury towers with 4 parking levels and apartment floors ranging from 11 to 21 floors. All projects will be executed on a design-and-build basis within strict timelines.
