Bharat Electronics Stock Rises; Secures Additional Orders Worth RS 843 Crore

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) is currently trading at RS 273.80, marking an increase of 1.55 points or 0.57% from its previous closing price of RS 272.25 on the BSE.

The stock opened at RS 271.00 and reached a high of RS 274.25 and a low of RS 269.00 during the trading session. A total of 1,40,535 shares have been traded so far.

BEL, a BSE group 'A' stock with a face value of RS 1, recorded a 52-week high of RS 340.35 on 10-Jul-2024 and a 52-week low of RS 179.20 on 15-Mar-2024. In the past week, the stock fluctuated between RS 283.45 and RS 263.30. The company's current market capitalization stands at RS 1,99,008.73 crore.

The promoter holding in BEL is 51.14%, while institutional investors and non-institutional investors hold 38.28% and 10.59%, respectively.

BEL has secured additional orders worth RS 843 crore, including major projects related to RF seekers, vessel and air traffic management systems, electro-optic repair facilities, radar upgradation, spares, and services. With these new contracts, BEL's total order intake for the current financial year has reached RS 14,567 crore.
