Avenue Supermarts Stock Rises 2.14%, Opens Four New Stores

Avenue Supermarts is currently trading at RS. 3618.45, gaining 75.95 points or 2.14% from its previous close of RS. 3542.50 on the BSE.

The stock opened at RS. 3579.90 and recorded a high of RS. 3635.00 and a low of RS. 3547.85 during the session. A total of 9,260 shares have been traded so far.

The BSE group 'A' stock, with a face value of RS. 10, reached a 52-week high of RS. 5484.00 on 24-Sep-2024 and a 52-week low of RS. 3337.10 on 03-Mar-2025. Over the past week, the stock has fluctuated between RS. 3635.00 and RS. 3337.10. The company’s market capitalization currently stands at RS. 2,35,991.60 crore.

Promoters hold 74.65% of the company’s shares, while institutional and non-institutional investors own 17.10% and 8.25%, respectively.

Meanwhile, Avenue Supermarts has expanded its presence by opening four new D-Mart stores at Ampa Skyone Mall in Chennai (Tamil Nadu), Chikkaballapur (Karnataka), Kamed, Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh), and Garden Enclave, Amritsar (Punjab). The total store count has now reached 396.
