CLN Energy Surges 3.50% on BSE, Secures Rs 77 Crore Lithium-Ion Battery Order

CLN Energy is currently trading at Rs 296.00, up by 10.00 points or 3.50% from its previous closing of Rs 286.00 on the BSE.

The stock opened at Rs 303.00 and recorded a high of Rs 305.00 and a low of Rs 290.00. So far, 3,000 shares have been traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'M' stock, with a face value of Rs 10, has hit a 52-week high of Rs 355.35 on 10-Feb-2025 and a 52-week low of Rs 251.00 on 12-Feb-2025. Over the past week, the scrip’s high and low stood at Rs 315.00 and Rs 251.00, respectively. The company's current market capitalization is Rs 301.82 crore.

In a significant development, CLN Energy has secured a purchase order worth approximately Rs 77 crore (including tax) for the supply of Lithium-ion batteries from a telecom industry public sector undertaking. The order is expected to be completed within seven months.

CLN Energy specializes in manufacturing customized Lithium-ion batteries and motors, as well as powertrain components for electric vehicles, including controllers, throttles, DC-DC converters, displays, and differentials.
