Bharti Hexacom Approves Telecom Tower Sale to Indus Towers

Bharti Hexacom has received approval for the sale/transfer of around 3,400 telecom towers to Indus Towers through a slump sale. This includes Macro Sites, Ultra Lean Sites (ULS), and Cell on Wheels (COW) but excludes sites under the Universal Service Obligation Fund (USOF).

  • The transfer will be based on fair valuation conducted by an independent valuer.
  • The transaction shall not exceed Rs 1,134.10 crore, subject to closing adjustments.
  • This move aims to enhance operational synergies, improve tower asset management, and streamline business operations within the group.

The Board of Directors approved the transaction during its meeting on February 6, 2025.
