Mahindra & Mahindra Stock Gains 1.87%, Approves New Subsidiary for Advanced Technologies

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) is currently trading at RS 3198.25, up by 58.85 points or 1.87% from its previous closing of RS 3139.40 on the BSE.

The stock opened at RS 3194.75 and recorded a high of RS 3221.40 and a low of RS 3110.50. A total of 72,907 shares have been traded so far.

M&M, a BSE group 'A' stock with a face value of RS 5, reached a 52-week high of RS 3270.00 on February 4, 2025, and a 52-week low of RS 1623.20 on February 13, 2024. Over the past week, the stock's high and low were RS 3270.00 and RS 2994.55, respectively. The company’s current market capitalization stands at RS 396,685.70 crore.

In terms of shareholding, promoters hold 18.48%, while institutions and non-institutions hold 68.20% and 13.31%, respectively.

Meanwhile, Mahindra & Mahindra has received approval to incorporate a wholly owned subsidiary, Mahindra Advanced Technologies (MATL), or another name as approved by the Registrar of Companies, Mumbai. The new entity will function as both an operating and holding company, focusing on integrated, innovative, and advanced security solutions. The Board of Directors approved this decision in its meeting on February 7, 2025.
