Bharti Airtel Shares Surge, Net Profit Jumps Six-Fold in Q3FY25

Bharti Airtel's shares are currently trading at RS 1707.50 on the BSE, up by 87.95 points or 5.43% from its previous closing price of RS 1619.55.

The stock opened at RS 1649.95 and touched a high of RS 1707.65 and a low of RS 1638.75. So far, 2,24,180 shares have been traded on the counter.

This BSE Group 'A' stock, with a face value of RS 5, recorded a 52-week high of RS 1778.95 on September 26, 2024, and a 52-week low of RS 1098.00 on February 22, 2024.

In the past week, the stock has touched a high of RS 1708.00 and a low of RS 1608.00. The company’s current market capitalization stands at RS 1030520.93 crore.

The promoter holding in the company stands at 53.11%, while institutional and non-institutional investors hold 43.86% and 3.02%, respectively.

Six-Fold Jump in Q3FY25 Profit

Bharti Airtel reported a six-fold increase in its Q3FY25 net profit at RS 9197.40 crore, compared to RS 1414.40 crore in the same quarter of the previous year. The company's total income grew by 19.16% to RS 28865.40 crore, compared to RS 24224.30 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

On a consolidated basis, the company posted a net profit of RS 16134.60 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2024, compared to RS 2876.40 crore in the same quarter last year. The total income rose by 18.94% to RS 45599.00 crore, compared to RS 38339.30 crore in the previous year’s corresponding quarter.
