Sun Pharma Stock Rises, Net Profit Surges 63.74% in Q3FY25

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries is currently trading at Rs 1766.10 on the BSE, up by 23.40 points or 1.34% from its previous closing price of Rs 1742.70.

The stock opened at Rs 1775.00 and touched a high of Rs 1787.65 and a low of Rs 1735.70. So far, 16,921 shares have been traded on the counter.

The BSE Group 'A' stock, with a face value of Rs 1, hit a 52-week high of Rs 1960.20 on September 30, 2024, and a 52-week low of Rs 1376.75 on June 4, 2024. Over the past week, the stock's high and low stood at Rs 1822.15 and Rs 1693.65, respectively. The company's current market capitalization is Rs 4,17,004.42 crore.

Sun Pharma reported a 63.74% increase in its net profit at Rs 1181.05 crore for Q3FY25, compared to Rs 721.31 crore in the same quarter of the previous year. The company’s total income rose by 21.54% to Rs 6260.20 crore in Q3FY25, up from Rs 5150.55 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

On a consolidated basis, the company's net profit grew by 13.61% to Rs 2917.54 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2024, compared to Rs 2568.03 crore in the same quarter last year. The total income also increased by 11.96% to Rs 14,141.08 crore in Q3FY25, up from Rs 12,630.90 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
