Adani Enterprises Gains on Acquiring 26% Stake in Gidhmuri Paturia Collieries

Adani Enterprises' stock is trading at 2,422.00, reflecting a rise of 20.15 points or 0.84% from its previous close of 2,401.85 on the BSE.

The stock opened at 2,415.30 and reached an intraday high of 2,445.00, while the low was 2,403.00. A total of 73,081 shares have been traded so far.

This 'A' group stock, with a face value of 1, had a 52-week high of 3,743.00 on June 3, 2024, and a 52-week low of 2,030.00 on November 22, 2024. Over the past week, the stock touched a high of 2,445.00 and a low of 2,334.45. The company's market capitalization stands at 2,79,657.99 crore.

Promoters hold 74.89% of the company, while institutional and non-institutional investors hold 17.75% and 7.36%, respectively.

Adani Enterprises recently acquired a 26% stake in Gidhmuri Paturia Collieries (GPCPL) from Sainik Mining and Allied Services by purchasing 2,600 equity shares with a face value of 10 each for 26,000. This acquisition aims to develop and operate coal and mineral mines. As a result, GPCPL has become a wholly owned subsidiary of Adani Enterprises.
