RailTel Secures ₹11.11 Crore Work Order, Stock Marginally Up

RailTel Corporation of India reported a slight rise in its stock price, trading at ₹435.50, up by 0.08% from its previous close of ₹435.15 on the BSE. The stock opened at ₹435.35, reaching an intraday high of ₹438.50 and a low of ₹432.95, with 19,971 shares traded so far.

A Group 'A' stock with a face value of ₹10, RailTel has witnessed a 52-week high of ₹618.00 on July 12, 2024, and a low of ₹279.00 on December 21, 2023. Over the past week, the stock’s high and low stood at ₹445.00 and ₹414.45, respectively. The company’s current market capitalization is ₹13,899.84 crore.

Promoters hold a 72.84% stake in the company, while institutional investors and non-institutional shareholders account for 3.66% and 23.50%, respectively.

The company secured a ₹11.11 crore work order (excluding tax) from Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Taluka-Rahuri. The project involves establishing virtual and digital classrooms with essential equipment, installing a video wall, and providing an Aadhaar-based system. The completion date is set for February 17, 2025.
