Mahindra & Mahindra's Q2FY25 Consolidated Net Profit Surges 35%, Shares Gain

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) shares are currently trading at Rs. 2903.70 on the BSE, showing an increase of 13.65 points or 0.47% from the previous close of Rs. 2890.05. The stock opened at Rs. 2923.95 and has fluctuated within a range of Rs. 2941.00 (high) and Rs. 2850.70 (low). Trading volume has reached 47,059 shares so far.

In the BSE 'A' group, M&M shares have a face value of Rs. 5 and have experienced a 52-week high of Rs. 3221.10 on September 27, 2024, and a 52-week low of Rs. 1,490.10 on November 9, 2023. For the last week, the stock’s high and low stood at Rs. 2970.00 and Rs. 2813.60, respectively. The company’s market capitalization currently stands at Rs. 3,59,386.05 crore.

In terms of shareholding, promoters hold 18.54% of the company, while institutional investors and non-institutional investors hold 68.30% and 13.15%, respectively.

For Q2FY25, M&M reported a 13.20% increase in standalone net profit, reaching Rs. 3,840.88 crore, compared to Rs. 3,393.06 crore in the same period last year. The company's total income also rose by 11.33%, amounting to Rs. 29,596.56 crore from Rs. 26,585.33 crore a year ago.

On a consolidated basis, the company’s net profit grew by 35.31% to Rs. 3,361.06 crore for Q2FY25, up from Rs. 2,483.97 crore in the previous year's corresponding quarter. Total income increased by 10.15%, reaching Rs. 38,582.96 crore, compared to Rs. 35,027.23 crore for the same period last year.
