Wipro’s Stock Rises Amid Launch of Google Gemini Experience Zone

Wipro's stock surged to Rs. 572.95 on the BSE, marking a 1.72% increase (up by 9.70 points) from its previous close of Rs. 563.25. The stock opened at Rs. 568.80 and fluctuated between Rs. 574.60 and Rs. 565.00 during trading, with 106,928 shares exchanged. This stock, with a face value of Rs. 2, previously peaked at a 52-week high of Rs. 580.00 on July 19, 2024, and a low of Rs. 376.90 on November 10, 2023. Wipro's current market capitalization stands at Rs. 299,962.64 crore. 

The company's promoters hold 72.80% ownership, while institutional and non-institutional investors hold 15.98% and 8.89%, respectively.

The stock’s rise coincides with Wipro's launch of the "Google Gemini Experience Zone," a dedicated space where clients can explore Google’s advanced AI technologies. Located at Wipro’s Silicon Valley Innovation Center in Mountain View, with plans for expansion to Bengaluru, these zones will offer enterprises a practical experience with Google’s AI tools like Gemini models and Vertex AI. Here, businesses can test AI applications such as natural language processing, image generation, customer interactions, and predictive analytics. 

Through this initiative, Wipro aims to fast-track AI adoption, offering industry-specific solutions co-developed with Google Cloud. Clients will have access to experts from both companies to create customized AI-driven business processes, helping them build resilient, future-focused AI capabilities.
