Hercules Hoists Rises After Subsidiary Inks Deal with Consolidated Hoists

Hercules Hoists is currently trading at Rs. 612.65 on the BSE, marking a 1% gain of 6.05 points from its previous close of Rs. 606.60. The stock opened at Rs. 609.20, reaching a high of Rs. 612.65 and a low of Rs. 603.55. A total of 62 shares have changed hands so far.

The BSE 'B' group stock, with a face value of Rs. 1, achieved a 52-week high of Rs. 655.05 on July 15, 2024, and a low of Rs. 284.25 on October 26, 2023. In the past week, the stock fluctuated between a high of Rs. 621.60 and a low of Rs. 580.00. The company's market capitalization currently stands at Rs. 1941.12 crore.

Hercules Hoists' subsidiary, Indef Manufacturing, has entered into an agreement with Consolidated Hoists (CHPL) in Pune to acquire intellectual property rights (IPR), including the Swift trademark, domains, designs, and other relevant data for hoists, cranes, and associated services. The agreement involves a payment of Rs. 4.625 crore as mutually agreed by both parties. This acquisition will allow Hercules Hoists to expand its reach in the hoists and crane sector.
