Indian Hotels Company Signs New Hotel in Gujarat, Shares Rise

Indian Hotels Company is currently trading at Rs. 601.95, marking an increase of 5.55 points or 0.93% from its previous close of Rs. 596.40 on the BSE.

The stock opened at Rs. 608.75 and reached a high of Rs. 608.75 and a low of Rs. 600.90. So far, 16,180 shares have been traded on this counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock, with a face value of Rs. 1, recorded a 52-week high of Rs. 663.40 on June 26, 2024, and a 52-week low of Rs. 371.45 on October 27, 2023.

Over the past week, the stock has seen a high of Rs. 643.00 and a low of Rs. 595.00. The current market capitalization of the company stands at Rs. 85,975.31 crore.

The company's promoters hold 38.12% of the shares, while institutional and non-institutional investors hold 45.62% and 16.27%, respectively.

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the signing of a new hotel in Nadiad, Gujarat. This hotel will be part of the IHCL-SeleQtions brand. Located on the Golden Quadrilateral road along the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Highway, the 108-room IHCL SeleQtions Nadiad-Ahmedabad, Gujarat will feature an all-day diner, a gym, a swimming pool, and a spa. The hotel will also offer over 10,000 sq. ft. of banqueting space, including meeting rooms, pre-function areas, and open lawns for weddings and large events. With this addition, IHCL will have 25 hotels in Gujarat, including six currently under development.
