JSW Infrastructure Shares Drop After Q1 Profit Decline

JSW Infrastructure is trading at Rs. 316.25, a drop of 20.05 points or 5.96% from its previous close of Rs. 336.30 on the BSE.

The stock opened at Rs. 316.10 and has reached a high of Rs. 327.55 and a low of Rs. 311.00. A total of 553,149 shares have been traded.

This BSE group 'B' stock with a face value of Rs. 2 had a 52-week high of Rs. 361.00 on July 4, 2024, and a 52-week low of Rs. 141.75 on October 3, 2023.

In the past week, the stock's high and low were Rs. 344.65 and Rs. 311.00, respectively. The company's current market cap stands at Rs. 66,895.55 crore.

For Q1FY25 ending June 30, 2024, JSW Infrastructure reported a 47.44% increase in net profit to Rs 97.34 crore compared to Rs 66.02 crore in the same quarter the previous year. The company's total income rose by 37.70% to Rs 280.56 crore compared to Rs 203.75 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

On a consolidated basis, JSW Infrastructure's net profit fell by 7.96% to Rs 296.55 crore for Q1FY25, compared to Rs 322.20 crore in the same quarter the previous year. However, total income increased by 20.20% to Rs 1,103.69 crore from Rs 918.24 crore in the corresponding quarter the previous year.
