IndiGo soars on unveiling new direct flight route between Mumbai -Vijayawada

Interglobe Aviation is currently trading at Rs. 4287.00, up by 8.75 points or 0.20% from its previous closing of Rs. 4278.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 4297.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 4307.55 and Rs. 4267.50 respectively. So far 4806 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 4610.00 on 10-Jun-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2334.95 on 28-Sep-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 4324.00 and Rs. 4212.65 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 165641.25 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 57.29%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 38.76% and 3.95% respectively.

InterGlobe Aviation (IndiGo) has unveiled a new direct flight route connecting Mumbai and Vijayawada. Set to commence from August 16, these daily flights aim to facilitate seamless travel between the capital of Maharashtra, Mumbai, and Andhra Pradesh’s business capital, Vijayawada. 

With induction of this flight, IndiGo will now operate 130 weekly flights from Vijayawada to 8 cities in India. These new flights will serve as a gateway connecting Western India to Vijayawada, which is one of the fastest-growing metropolitan areas in the country and provide access to international destinations for explorers from the East Coast, via Mumbai.
