Alfa Transformers touches roof on bagging purchase order worth Rs 27.39 crore

Alfa Transformers is currently trading at upper limit of Rs. 92.16, up by 4.38 points or 4.99% from its previous closing of Rs. 87.78 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 92.16 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 92.16 and Rs. 92.16 respectively. So far 5728 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'XT' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 121.40 on 07-Feb-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 18.51 on 06-Apr-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 97.45 and Rs. 80.01 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 80.32 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 47.49%, while Non-Institutions held 52.51% stake in the company.

Alfa Transformers has received a purchase order worth of Rs 27.39 crore from Gujarat Electricity Board. The company has bagged order for design, manufacturing and supply of 10 KVA 4,994 Nos of transformers from Vadodara plant. The said order is to be executed within 7 months from the date of receipt of order. 

Alfa Transformers is engaged in the production of Electrical Distribution & Power Transformers. The company is a major supplier to utilities, multinationals and domestic corporate.
