Tata Coffee rises on getting nod to set up additional 5500 MT freeze-dried coffee facility in Vietnam

Tata Coffee is currently trading at Rs. 277.15, up by 1.00 points or 0.36% from its previous closing of Rs. 276.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 276.15 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 280.00 and Rs. 276.15 respectively. So far 26443 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 280.00 on 30-Nov-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 199.15 on 23-Mar-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 280.00 and Rs. 273.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5186.61 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 57.48%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 9.92% and 32.60% respectively.

Tata Coffee has received approval for the setting up of an additional 5500 Metric Tonnes (MT) Freeze-Dried Coffee facility in Vietnam. This facility is being undertaken by Tata Coffee Vietnam Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company. The objective of expansion is to cater to growing demand for the Freeze-dried product envisaged and saturation of existing capacity. The Board of Directors of the Company, at its meeting held on November 30, 2023, has approved the same.

Tata Coffee is one of the largest integrated Coffee cultivation and processing companies in the world and the largest corporate producer of Indian Origin Pepper.
