Home First Finance Company trades in green on the BSE

Home First Finance Company India is currently trading at Rs. 894.85, up by 17.20 points or 1.96% from its previous closing of Rs. 877.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 879.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 896.00 and Rs. 876.60 respectively. So far 12212 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 980.00 on 17-Oct-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 654.85 on 13-Mar-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 961.20 and Rs. 870.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 7865.22 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 30.19%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 26.98% and 42.83% respectively.

Home First Finance Company India's two promoters as well as Warburg Pincus affiliate have sold shares of the company for Rs 753 crore through open market transactions. The company's promoters -- True North Fund V LLP and Aether Mauritius -- and Orange Clove Investments BV, a Warburg Pincus affiliate, offloaded shares in two tranches each on the BSE. 

According to the bulk deal data available with the BSE, True North Fund V LLP disposed of 34,60,699 shares and Aether Mauritius sold 23,07,229 shares, amounting to a 3.9 per cent and 2.6 per cent stake in the Mumbai-based company. Orange Clove Investments BV also offloaded 28,83,819 shares, or 3.27 per cent stake, in the housing finance company.

The shares were sold in the range of Rs 870-871.13 apiece, taking the combined deal size to Rs 753.12 crore. After the latest transaction, the combined shareholding of the promoters has declined to 23.69 per cent from 30.19 per cent, while Orange Clove Investments BV's equity dipped to 23.16 per cent from 26.43 per cent stake in the company.
